We can seal your crown with a new crown coating, pour a new concrete crown, seal or repair the exterior of the chimney, and fix any flashing issues.

Inspections

We do 25 point inspections of your chimneys interior and exterior to make sure you can safely burn a cozy fire in your fireplace. We can do a video inspection if you wish so we can show you your chimney from the comfort of your living room.

 Selling your Home

We provide the necessary inspection reports for home sales so the seller and buyer can know the functionality of the chimney.

Cleanings

The proper maintenance of your chimney is crucial to the safety of your home. We will make sure your chimney flue is properly cleaned of any built up creosote and we will help educate the homeowner on how to avoid excessive future creosote build up. We also offer a free inspection with every cleaning!

Repairs

Sometimes your chimney needs more than a simple cleaning to safely burn and with our inspections we can break down these repairs and offer you all of the options available to return the chimney to working order.

Relinings

Have you been told that you had a chimney fire or that you have cracks in your clay flue tiles? We can reline your flue with a steel chimney liner and in some cases we can resurface instead of relining.

Masonry/siding

Does the brick work on your chimney look as if it is decaying? This is called brick spalling. We can repair cracked or missing bricks or if needed, completely remove all damaged brick and rebuild. We can replace rotting/damaged siding. We will also make sure your chimney flashing is in working order to prevent leaking.

Inspections, Cleanings, and Repairs. My services might be varied, but they all come with skill. Have you had another chimney company come out and stress that you should only do business with a certified Chimney contractor? This is simply not true, no such law exists in the State of Kansas. I began my career repairing masonry structures and had previous fireplace repair experience. When I first inquired with the city of Lawrence 15 years ago about getting a chimney sweep/repair license I was told there is no such license and this is true to this day. In the fireplace industry in Kansas the only licensing needed is for free standing stove and factory built fireplace installations, WHICH WE DO NOT DO (although we do clean and inspect them).

I truly love masonry chimneys/fireplaces and have never even entertained the idea of being a factory built chimney installer. Some folks love what they do!
